Gafa Foundation (Glaucomafrica) is a non profit organisation dedicated to providing a voice and platform for visually impaired Africans suffering glaucoma.
This is driven by the founder Emmanuel Aiyemonisan an indigène of Ondo State, Nigeria who was diagnosed of the silent eye damaging disease from his teenage days.
The traumatic experience and painful limitations caused by glaucoma birth the desire to establish GAFA FOUNDATION also known as GLAUCOMA AFRICA.

Eye Consultation/Examination
The Gafa Glaucoma consultation is an in-depth consultation that includes an eye examination as well as specialised tests to monitor and assess structures of the eye relating to glaucoma. It is designed for people who: have been defined as at-risk (for example, you have borderline eye pressure).

Glaucoma Support & Advocacy
Glaucoma being a chronic, progressive and degenerative eye disease without cure in Africa needs a lot of advocacy and a strong support system to help individuals scale through the harsh and tensed atmosphere in Africa.

Glaucoma Treatment & Management
We help administer treatments for Glaucoma management to individuals diagnosed with Glaucoma. This will prevent further damage of the optic nerves.

Glaucoma Education
We help to enlighten individuals on Glaucoma as an eye disorder that occurs from damage to the optic nerve. The optic nerve carries nerve signals about what you see to your brain for processing. Glaucoma most frequently results from an imbalance of fluid production and drainage inside of the eye that causes the inner eye pressure to increase.
